Sharing Pictures...

I'm sharing some of my pictures taken during my trip to US last September-October. I stayed in Fontana, California for 10 days. I was able to visit Las Vegas this time with Reggie, my nephew and his family. We had a party last September 15, we celebrated Maggie's 7th Birthday, Jigs and Cely's joint birthday celebration too. Then I went to East Coast for 3 weeks to visit my sister Linda and my brother in law Bill Graham in Delaware. I was able to see my apos with Donna and Seth... Graham, Sadie and Gracie. I visited Mom, Bill's Mom. Met some family friends May Anne and Edison Aningalan who now lives in New Jersery, Mael and wife, my son Jay's friend who was a neighbor in Rhodas for quite a while. Had my Phili-steak of course! Had a great bonding moment with my family there specially with Dionne and Mike. And those hunting days for Issa's scrapbook stash in Joann's and AC Moore...

Angelo's 12th Birthday...

Last Thursday (November 22) was Angelo's 12th Birthday and Totoy's 8th year death anniversary and we celebrated it last night. We had dinner in their house in Katarungan Village, Muntinlupa. Christmas decor is everywhere in their house, meticulously arranged which give a nice Christmas spirit as a whole. The food is prepared ala super smorgasbord kaya hanggang leeg na tuloy ang busog ng lahat! There were freshly cooked fried rice, beef stew, pancit canton, beef caldereta, tuna carbonara, sweet chili alimasag (crabs) and huge prawns. Crabs and prawns are boiled with sprite or 7-up with a little salt until cooked, eaten with vinegar and garlic. It is very delicious but. . . for those people with high blood pressure beware of eating the "aligue" of the crabs and head of the prawns or else you know what will happen. Got a small serving of each kind and dinner is completed with ice cream and crema de fruta.

Tagaytay...

November 11, 2007: It's Sunday once again and it's family day for us. Luigi and Enzo are always looking forward to this day, where we would always have dinner after hearing the 5PM mass. This week was kinda special because Cheche passed her NCLEX exam and so we have to thank the Lord for this wonderful blessing. We had mass at the Pink Sisters in Tagaytay, such a nice and peaceful place where all you can do is reflect and thank the Lord. Then afterwards, we had dinner at Teriyaki Boy with Cheche's parents Mareng Gay and Pareng Jun. It's Jay and Luigi's favorite eat out place, they would order their favorite chicken teriyaki and kani salad.

Well, it's my first time to blog, so just watch out for my cooking escapades... and well all pig out eating delicious menus
